The complete AA WIGS package contents — every item laid out before installation. This is what your delivery should include.

Luxury brands reduce uncertainty before the product arrives. Apple publishes what comes in the iPhone box. Fine jewelers describe every element of their packaging. AA WIGS does the same — because knowing what to expect is part of the experience.

This page reflects the current AA WIGS package configuration as of August 2026. It will be updated if the contents change.

The Contents, Item by Item

1

The Outer Shipping Box

A plain, unmarked shipping box protects the presentation packaging during transit. There is no AA WIGS branding on the exterior — only a shipping label and standard carrier markings. This is intentional: discreet delivery means your package does not advertise its contents.

What to do: Before opening, photograph all six sides. Note any significant external damage — dents, tears, wet areas — in the photographs before proceeding.

2

The Burgundy Presentation Box

Inside the shipping box is the AA WIGS burgundy presentation box — a structured, rigid box with the AA WIGS monogram on the lid. This is your storage box. It is designed to be reused: between wears, the box provides structured protection for the wig when a stand is not available.

What to do: Photograph the box sealed before opening. The lid should be seated evenly with no gaps. The exterior should be free of significant dents or crushing.

3

The Satin Storage Bag

Inside the presentation box, the wig is enclosed in an AA WIGS branded satin drawstring bag. Satin creates minimal friction against the hair compared to other materials — this is why it is used for storage and travel rather than a plastic sleeve or paper wrap. The bag is intended to be kept and used for ongoing storage between wears and during travel.

What to do: Remove the bag from the box. Check that the drawstring is intact. The wig inside should be coiled or folded to fit within the bag — this does not damage the hair.

4

The Protective Hair Net

The wig arrives with a fine hair net over the hair. This net holds the hair in place during shipping to minimize tangling and compression. It is not part of the wig — it is removed before use.

What to do: Remove the hair net gently, working from the ends upward. Do not pull — the net should slide off easily. If any hair catches, work slowly to free it without tension.

5

The Wig

The AA WIGS Signature Swiss HD Body Wave — 22 inches, 180% density, 13×6 Swiss HD lace front, single-donor virgin human hair, glueless-ready construction with adjustable straps and combs. The lace will arrive with a protective film or wig tape covering the lace area — this is removed before installation.

What to do: Do not cut the lace, apply product, wash, or style until you have completed the First Ten Minutes inspection. This inspection protects your purchase and establishes a documented record of the unit's condition at arrival.

6

The Care Card

A printed care card with essential care instructions specific to the AA WIGS Signature Body Wave. The care card covers: washing frequency, recommended products, heat temperature limits, storage guidance, and contact information for support.

What to do: Keep the care card with the presentation box. For detailed care guidance, the full AA WIGS Care Guide expands on every instruction from the card.

7

Additional Accessories

Depending on the current package configuration, your order may also include: a wide-tooth comb for detangling, a satin scrunchie for protective styling, or other care accessories. The exact contents of each order are confirmed at the time of purchase.

What to do: Lay out all accessories alongside the wig before beginning the inspection. If any item from your order confirmation is missing, document this before proceeding and contact support.

On Shipping Compression

This is normal: The body wave pattern may appear flattened, compressed, or less defined than in the product photographs when the wig first arrives. This occurs because the hair has been held in position inside the packaging during transit — sometimes for several days.

Shipping compression resolves after the hair is gently refreshed. Hang the wig on a stand and allow it to air freely for 30–60 minutes. For faster results, lightly mist the hair with water and scrunch gently — the wave pattern will begin to redefine itself. A full wash will restore the wave completely.

Shipping compression is not a quality issue. It is a normal consequence of packaging any textured hair for transit.

Arrival Checklist

Use this checklist after opening to confirm your package is complete before proceeding to installation.

Your Package Should Include:

  • Outer shipping box (undamaged)
  • Burgundy presentation box (intact)
  • Satin storage bag with drawstring
  • Protective hair net on wig
  • The AA WIGS Signature Body Wave wig
  • Lace front intact and uncut
  • Care card with instructions
  • Any accessories noted in your order

If any item is missing or damaged at arrival, photograph the package contents before making any changes and contact AA WIGS support with your order number and photos.

Your Next Step

Now that you know what's in the box, the next step is the inspection — before cutting, washing, or styling. The inspection takes ten minutes and creates a clear record of your unit's condition at arrival.

Frequently Asked Questions

What comes in an AA WIGS package?

An AA WIGS order includes: the outer shipping box, the burgundy presentation box, satin storage bag, protective hair net, the wig itself, a care card, and any accessories noted in your order confirmation. Every item is documented on this page.

How is the wig packaged for shipping?

The wig is placed in the satin storage bag, then inside the structured burgundy presentation box, which is then placed inside a plain outer shipping box. The wig may arrive with slightly compressed waves from transit — this is normal and resolves when the hair is gently refreshed.

Is the outer box branded with AA WIGS?

No. The outer shipping box is plain and unmarked — only a shipping label is visible externally. Discreet delivery is intentional so your package does not advertise its contents.
