Buying With Confidence
A plain-language walkthrough of how the AA WIGS return process works — who is eligible, how to submit a request, what to include, and what happens next.
This guide explains how the process works — the steps, what to include, and what to expect after you submit. The companion guide, How to Protect Your Return Options, explains what to do and what to avoid on arrival to keep your options open in the first place.
If you haven't completed the pre-installation inspection yet, start with the First Ten Minutes guide before proceeding with installation.
Eligibility depends on three factors: timing, condition, and whether the concern can be documented.
These are guidelines based on the policy. For questions about your specific situation, contact AA WIGS support directly before making any alteration.
If you've identified a concern, do not cut lace, wash, or make any permanent change before contacting support. Alterations made before a return is assessed significantly affect eligibility.
Photograph the specific concern under natural daylight — near a window, not overhead artificial light. Include: the full wig, a close-up of the issue, and the area under different angles if relevant. Keep the original timestamps on all photos.
Reach out through the contact page. In your first message, include: your order number, a description of the concern, and the photographs. The more complete your first message, the faster the response — the support team will not need to ask follow-up questions to begin assessment.
Do not ship the wig back without receiving a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from AA WIGS first. Wigs returned without authorization cannot be processed. The support team will confirm eligibility and provide return shipping instructions.
Follow the exact packaging and carrier instructions provided by support. The wig must be returned in the original packaging where possible — satin bag, presentation box — to protect it during transit. Use a trackable shipping method and retain the tracking number.
Once the returned unit is received and assessed, the support team will communicate the outcome — refund, exchange, or repair — based on the findings and the terms of the return policy.
Include all of these in the first message for the fastest resolution:
The AA WIGS Concierge will review your request and respond with an assessment. Response times vary, but including complete documentation in your first message eliminates the need for back-and-forth and typically results in faster resolution.
While waiting for a response, keep the wig in its original condition and retain all original packaging.
