Buying With Confidence
This is an educational guide — not the official return policy. It explains what to do, what to photograph, and what to avoid so that your options remain open if something is genuinely wrong with your order.
Human hair wigs are personal care items. Once altered — lace cut, hair washed, knots bleached, ends trimmed — determining the original condition of the unit becomes significantly more difficult. This makes the ten minutes after unboxing the most important window in the entire purchase.
This guide is written to protect you — not to create obstacles. The clearer your documentation, the faster any genuine issue can be assessed and resolved.
The sequence matters. Do these steps before anything else:
Photographs taken before alteration are the primary form of evidence for any support request. Take all of these before proceeding with installation:
Keep all photographs in your camera roll with the original timestamps. Timestamps confirm when the photographs were taken relative to any alteration.
If something looks wrong, stop here before proceeding. These actions are difficult or impossible to reverse and may affect how a concern can be assessed:
None of these actions are wrong in themselves — they are normal parts of wig installation. The point is to complete them after confirming the unit is correct, not before.
If your inspection reveals a genuine concern, contact AA WIGS support before making any alteration. Include the following in your first message:
Having all of this in the first message significantly reduces the back-and-forth needed to assess the situation. The AA WIGS Concierge is available at the contact page.
